Jewellery box in solid elm with the timber coming from a Norfolk wood yard.
The panels that make up the top and base have a plywood core laminated with hand cut elm veneers. Inlayed into the top is a band of solid ebony.
Inside the box is a tray from ash with hand marbled paper and the key hole is finished with in inlayed brass escutcheon.
Commissioned by a client in Cambridge, this mirror frame is made up from six pieces of solid black walnut into which have been inlayed mother or pearl dots.
The mirror has had a bevelled edge and the back panel is solid sapele.
This wall mounted display shelving uses a variety of materials and was painted on site after fitting.
It was made for a Georgian manor house near Guildford. There are a matching pair either side of a doorway and this highly ornamental this pair create a stunning impact in an already striking room.
