Dan Stabler trained as a furniture designer and maker at the London College of Furniture where he was awarded the college's Higher Award for Craftsmanship in 1987.

At the heart of his approach to furniture making is a sound understanding of materials and methods of construction allied to his eye for detail and elegant design.
